The mission of the ECDT Festival is to foster community appreciation for Early Childhood Dance Theatre and performance arts, to encourage children between 3 – 13 years to showcase their talents and become involved in the community.
We
are looking for dancers, performers, and arts organizations who wish
to take part in this Festival. Participants may display their work,
promote their own upcoming events, demonstrate, and sell their
work/recordings. Dance schools and studios are welcome to a time
slot on the stage (first-come, first-served). This
Festival is family-friendly, admission is $500 / $200 to the public,
please consider this as you prepare.

- Parking is available at the YMCA Parking Lot.
- Some tables and chairs will be provided, please feel free to bring your own.
- Performers who wish to participate in the workshops may do so for $100.00.
- Exhibitors fee are from $2,500.00 - $25,000.00 donation would help cover space rental, advertising, artists fees, etc.
- Set-up time will be from 8:30 AM- 9:30 AM and participants will be expected to stay for the entire Festival.
- Clean-up will start at 3:00PM and you will be expected to leave your space as you found it, or cleaner!

Applications:
Applications will be accepted on a
first-come, first-served basis and all applications are due in by
Saturday, April 14, 2012.
The number of applicants may be limited due to space constraints.
After you submit your Participation Application you will receive an
Application Response indicating acceptance and detailing any other
information as needed. As
you plan your table/booth/dance/performance please keep in mind that
this is a family friendly festival and there will be children of all
ages attending.
Arts
Festival Donations:
Although many festivals require a fee, we
are asking participants to pay a table and booth fees ranging from
$2,500 - $25,000. This
donation will go towards defraying the ECDT Festival expenses (space
rental, advertising, supplies, etc). Donations will be due by May
1st,
2012. Entry fee is $500 adult and $200 children. Donations given, or
promises of donations, will not affect your application/participation
in any way.
Liability
Waiver: By submitting
your application to participate in this ECDT Festival you waive all
claims made by you, your organization, family, and agents against the
ECDT Festival, its Coordinator Kofi Walker, other participants,
volunteers and YMCA Officials for any damage or loss of property
and/or any personal injury.
