The bonds I've formed continue to provide strength, comfort, and encouragement as I move forward. I cherish these connections and express gratitude for the care I've received from wonderful people who continue to foster and maintain meaningful relationships with me and my visions.
Sopia-Ann Williams with her students @ Barnabas ECI Down Town Kingston -February |
BARNABAS EARLY CHILDHOOD INSTITUTION
My connections usually evolve into strong human relationships, such as the lovely people I met through the Early Childhood Development program at Bethel Training Institute. Sophia-Ann, the Principal of Barnabas ECI (Early Childhood Institution), was my classmate. We share the same passion and dedication to youth development programs.
Having supported several schools situated in volatile communities in Downtown Kingston. I acknowledge that schools in such areas often face unique challenges, and with some external financial support, I would love to be able to contribute to her school. You can reach out to me or her school if you wish to support our commitment to education and community development. Knowing that Sophia-Ann is carrying on a family heritage, with her mother having been the principal, adds a rich historical and personal layer to the story of the school.
The legacy of the school, founded by Cannon Swaby in 1963, further underscores its historical significance and the impact it has had on the community over the years. Your support would not only aid the current generation of students but also contribute to the continuation of a legacy that has deep roots in the community.

SAGICOR CORPORATE AWARD 2023
Thanks to Carlington Silburn's invitation to work with him...! I was so grateful to reconnect with two of my LPTPC (Little People
and Teen Players Club) members for the Sagicor Corporate Award Ceremony.
It struck me as funny that I found myself in the company of celebrities. Wealth Advisor (past LPTPC member) Loeri Robinson of Sagicor and Mr. Lex, Jamaican Dance Hall Artist; but in
the midst of the excitement, I failed to realize, let alone acknowledge it! My
sincere apologies to all you beautiful people; I truly had a great time working
with you. You can view the awards event here.

Mrs. Lee, no longer residing in Jamaica. She has been a crucial part of my life for over five years. Her enduring support for the performing arts in Castleton spans decades. Towards the close of 2022, Mrs. Lee reached out to me, encouraging the application of my skills for the benefit of the community's children. Embracing the challenge, I can say without a doubt that I don't regret it. Mrs. Lee, your foresight and recommendations prepared me for what lay ahead. I am grateful for your guidance and trust in me to carry forward your legacy. I am committed for another year!

Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation – July |
Nurse Gaye Williams, of the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation,
I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and your team for
incorporating AIR-PAASA's activities as a staple in your yearly summer camp programs. It's
been such a joy and comfort to have inherited a cat from the centre, and I've
been enjoying her delightful company for two years now. Especially during
challenging times, she has been a constant source of comfort. Your thoughtful
inclusion of my programs not only adds to the uniqueness of the camp but also
contributes significantly to the well-being and joy of those who benefit from
them. Thank you once again for your wonderful initiatives and support.

FALLING EDGE
Boden Hill, Stony Hill, St. Andrew
This was a splendid opportunity to unwind and reconnect with Mrs. Taylor, a cherished acquaintance since 2010. Our bond originated during my tenure at Jamaica House Basic School, and spending time together at Boden Hill brought back fond memories.
To add to the joy of the day, Miss Miller, the PE Teacher

shared moments. It was a refreshing and enjoyable experience, fostering
connections and creating lasting memories.
Princess (My cousin) & Charm (My ECD Class Mate). |
L-R Princess Lynch, My Cousin & Charm Daley, My ECD Classmate.
These two wonderful individuals made my holidays truly interesting. I absolutely adore Princess' accent; she can talk to me all day, and her St. Ann patois never fails to tickle my funny bone. Charm is one of those delightful friends who throws challenges your way and fully expects you to respond with, "How high?" Well, because she's my friend, I ended up taking her to the river to soak her feet. Their company added a special touch to my holiday season.

LEGAL AID CLINIC
Accompanying my neighbour and friend to retrieve documents from two decades ago at this office turned into a unique experience. My charm led to an unexpected invitation to work for two days. On the first day, I successfully retrieved my neighbour’s documents, and I was duly compensated for my day's labor. As of now, I'm eagerly awaiting either further engagement or compensation for my second day's work. The experience has been intriguing, and I look forward to seeing how this opportunity unfolds.

Teaching at Charlton Preparatory School for ten days over four weeks leading up to their Christmas Carol Celebration was truly a dream come true for me!
I sincerely hope that the students enjoyed and found value in their experiences during this period. While it wasn't necessarily an easy journey, I'm gratified to share that we achieved good results, thanks to the efforts of the students, their parents, and the teachers.
A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Hall, Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin for the support and collaboration during this fulfilling teaching stint at my alma mater. It was an honour to contribute to the Christmas Carol Celebration, and I look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.

Bethel United Training Institute (ECD Level 3) Graduates!
Reflecting on my just-over-a-year journey studying Early
Childhood Development at Bethel United Training Institute, it's clear that I
stood out as the odd one among the group right from the start of the course.
Embracing my uniqueness, especially as the only male in the cohort, turned out
to be an advantage. I was able to provide valuable services to my female peers,
and in return, their support and collaboration brought me immense satisfaction
and joy. It's been a memorable journey, and I'm proud to be among the graduates
of ECD Level 3 from Bethel United Training Institute. Call +1 (876) 503-2474 to register in the Early Childhood Development program.
My 2022/23 Achievement! |
SPIRIT OF HEART (2nd Runner-up)
Receiving the recognition as the 2nd Runner-up in the Spirit of Heart is an achievement that took me by surprise. It's a testament to the fact that sometimes, the positive impact we make isn't always immediately apparent during the process. This unexpected accomplishment reinforces that doing a good job often has a ripple effect that goes beyond what we can perceive at the moment. Grateful for the acknowledgment and look forward to continued efforts to make a positive impact.

Hope Zoo, Kingston Jamaica
Over the past couple of years, Patrice Levy, the
Marketing Manager for Hope Zoo, and I (both past LPTPC members) have reconnected, and I've thoroughly enjoyed my cameo appearances. It has been a delightful experience to take on various characters, from the Grim Gate Keeper
to Santa Claus, and for the last two years, I've had the unique opportunity to both scare and capture the hearts of many by playing the Grinch.
Thank you, Miss Levy, for making this activity not just enjoyable but also a lot of fun. My gratitude extends to you and your team for including me in these memorable moments.

Under the leadership of Mr. Smith, not only was I inspired by him, but I also found alignment with my methodology and style, we share a common interest in community development and fostering the growth of children using our resources and with the assistance of others. The picture captures the vibrant children who performed at the event on December 30th, marking my final event of 2023. It's been a rewarding journey, and I look forward to more opportunities to contribute to meaningful initiatives this year.
